FRAG DRUM MAGNETS
How it works
Shredded material is delivered beneath a rotating drum via a non- magnetic feeder or conveyor. The drum’s magnetic surface attracts ferrous metals, separating them from non-magnetic materials. As the drum turns, alternating magnetic poles agitate the ferrous fraction, loosening trapped contaminants and improving overall separation quality.

Magnapower Frag Drums feature our unique, proprietary magnet design, using deep field permanent magnets that deliver powerful and consistent ferrous attraction. This intense magnetic pull enables greater gap settings between the drum and the discharge point, allowing non-ferrous materials to drop away cleanly — improving overall separation efficiency and minimising contamination.
