EDDY CURRENT SEPARATORS
How it works
A high‑frequency magnetic rotor sits inside the conveyor’s head drum. As non‑ferrous metals pass over the belt, rapidly alternating magnetic fields induce eddy currents within the particles. These currents generate a repulsive force that ejects aluminium, copper, and other non‑ferrous metals forward, separating them from the remaining material stream.
This process enables:
- Precise metal recovery even at high throughput
- Reduced contamination
- Consistent purity across varied waste streams
